Additional Training Sessions
These modules complement the disability awareness days to form a full programme of training in all aspects of working with people who have an acquired brain injury. All Headway Devon staff are expected to complete this programme.
These sessions look at specific issues and examine them in more detail, allowing learners the opportunity to evaluate their own practice and offering tools which may help with recognising and responding to a variety of needs as they arise.
It is also hoped that through his programme people will be able to better identify their own strengths and weaknesses within the context of brain injury rehabilitation.
