Round Table donation means computer boost for Headway Devon

Clients who attend Headway Devon's Exeter centre are benefiting from new computer equipment thanks to a big donation from Exeter Round Table.

Exeter Round Table, which organises the annual firework display at St Loyes, donated £5,000 to the charity to help replace aging computer equipment and to support the running of the centre.

Fundraising officer Nick Hall said: "This extremely generous donation from the Round Table means that our clients can now improve their computer skills on new machines. It is making a huge difference.

"The cash also helps to cover some of the other costs involved in providing care, support, and rehabilitation to Exeter adults with brain injuries - such as training staff and providing a venue for our services.

"We rely on the support of the local community and would like to thank Exeter Round Table for their generosity."

Headway Devon runs seven centres around the county for adults with acquired brain injuries. Anyone who would like more information about the charity, or would like to make a donation, should call 01392 211822 or visit www.headwaydevon.org.uk.
