“I felt inspired to take part”

The team on a mountain in PeruA gruelling eight-day trek has helped  Headway Devon staff members Maxine Gazzard and Natalie Clapshaw  to raise over £3,000 for local people with brain injuries.

The expedition through the Peruvian Andes to the world famous site of Machu Picchu saw the intrepid pair climb to over 4,600m above sea level.

Maxine explained, “After seeing first-hand how the charity’s work makes a difference to the lives of local people, I felt inspired to take part in the challenge and raise as much as possible.”

There’s still time to support the girls. If you would like to sponsor their efforts, simply click on this link for Maxine, or this link for Natalie.
