Serving the community over Christmas

For many of us, Christmas is a time to relax and spend time with loved ones, but it can also be a very challenging time for people with brain injuries.

With this in mind, although Headway Devon’s head office and day centres will be closed for the period, our dedicated Community Support Team will continue to provide support and care to the people who need it most.

From helping people to get up in the mornings to preparing meals and providing some welcome company, our one-to-one Community Support Workers will be making a real difference to local people with brain injuries and helping to ensure that they are able to remain at home and stay safe for the festive season.

We will continue to improve life after brain injury during the season of goodwill, spreading good cheer across Devon and Torbay.

Headway Devon, and the people we support, are very grateful for the dedication of the staff members who are working over this period.

Full details of our centre opening times over the festive period:

The Exeter centre will be open on Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th December.

The Tiverton centre will be open on Tuesday 18th December.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our clients, supporters, volunteers and staff a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
