Services over Christmas

But Christmas can be a very challenging time for people with brain injuries and although Headway Devon’s day centres will be closed for the period, our dedicated Community Support Team will continue to provide support and care to the people who need it most.

From helping people to get up in the mornings, to preparing meals and providing some welcome company, our one-to-one Community Support Workers will be making a real difference to local people with brain injuries and helping to ensure that they are able to remain at home and stay safe for the festive season.

Headway Devon, and the people we support, are very grateful for the support and dedication of the staff members who are working over this period.

 

Full details of our centre opening times over the festive period:

Exeter will be open on Friday 20th and Monday 23rd December.

Tiverton will be open on Tuesday 17th December.

Exmouth will be open on Thursday 19th December.

Torquay will be open on Thursday 19th December.

Honiton will be open on Friday 20th December.

The XCentre and Headway Devon’s head office will close on Tuesday 24th December, with a skeleton staff operating from Monday 30th December.

All centres, Community Support and the head office will return to full service on Thursday 2nd January.
