Hats off to Michael!
Michael’s fantastic home-made tractor hat and cheeky grin secured him the prize for “best individual photo,” as voted for by Headway UK staff.
Centre Services Manager, Richard Swanton, said: “Michael was delighted to hear that he’d won the national prize, as were all of us at Headway Devon. The centre that he attends has a great track record for creating amazing hats each year for Hats for Headway Day. The tractor hat was a particularly tough one to create, but Michael and a volunteer helper persevered with it due to his intense love of tractors and we’re really pleased that their efforts paid off and won him this award. The hat now has pride of place at Michael’s house.”
The prize now winging its way to Michael is a selection of signed goodies from James Cracknell, Olympic rower, brain injury survivor and Vice President of Headway UK.
