Headway Devon praised in glowing CQC report

Headway DevonHeadway Devon are delighted to have received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission following an inspection at the end of September. The assessment took place over two days and involved visiting and interviewing a range of clients and staff members about the service that the charity provides to people with acquired brain injuries.

The report shows Headway to have attained the required quality standards in all aspects of the service, and one of the most positive aspects is the positive feedback received from the people who use Headway Devon’s services. The report reads, “People told us they were very satisfied with the care they received and praised the care workers who visited them. Comments included ‘The carers are all lovely, I wouldn’t be without them’, and ‘I am being very well looked after’.”

Other comments from clients included, “Headway carers are excellent. They are caring, discreet and professional,” while staff also told us how much they valued being part of our organisation, with one telling us “I love Headway, I love what I do and I am passionate about the service,“ and another calling us “the best company I have worked for.”
