Exmouth’s Fundraising Spring Fayre
Headway Devon’s Spring Fayre and Coffee Morning will be back at the Open Door Centre on Church Street in Exmouth on Thursday 31st March. Organised by clients, volunteers and staff from our centre in Exmouth, the event will run from 10.30am-2.30pm and is open to all.
Centre manager, Diana Russell, says, “Our spring fayre is a regular event in our fundraising calendar and always goes down well with local people. As well as teas, coffees and delicious homemade cakes there will also be a second-hand stall and a fantastic charity raffle, which has a great range of prizes to win.”
“Events like this are a great way for us to raise funds for the centre and let people know about the vital work that is going on right here in the local community.
“Our cake sales are always popular in Exmouth and we’re really looking forward to welcoming members of the public in to enjoy some home baking, browse our stalls and activities and find out more about what Headway Devon does.”
All funds raised at the fayre will be used to improve the services available to people with brain injuries through Headway Devon’s day centre in Exmouth. The centre provides weekly activities for people with acquired brain injuries as well as offering vital support and respite to their families and carers.
