ABI Week 2017
It’s here… Action for Brain Injury Week 2017!
ABI Week (8th-14th May) is all about sharing people’s experiences with acquired brain injuries. Life after brain injury can present some great challenges to the individual, and their families and carers. We focus on how to move forward and rebuild lives after brain injury.
Throughout ABI Week our day centre groups are running various activities across Devon, such as raising awareness of acquired brain injury in the local community, and joining in the #HatsforHeadway social media campaign on Friday 12th May. We would love to see as many people as possible sharing selfies and group photos with their favourite hats on! Every photo or social media post helps to get the word out there about ABI Week and acquired brain injury!
Check out Headway UK’s page on the campaign, linked below, which is all about moving forward after acquired brain injury and living with #ANewMe.
