Find out more at our Brain Injury ID Card information event

Headway Devon are delighted to be hosting a free information event taking place in Exeter in October. The event is aimed at local professionals whose work brings them into contact with the general public including those from the private, public and voluntary sectors. Delegates will be able to learn about acquired brain injury and understand the brain injury ID card scheme.

The Brain Injury Identity Card has been created by Headway UK and is designed to help public-facing workers, including police officers and emergency services, more easily identify brain injury survivors and ensure that they receive an appropriate response and support.

Headway UK staff will talk delegates through the award-winning brain injury ID card scheme. Delegates will be able to learn about acquired brain injury, understand why the card is needed, how it can be used and given guidance on the application process.

The event will be taking place on Thursday 10th October 2019 at the XCentre in Exeter. It will run from 1pm-4pm and will include a complimentary networking lunch and networking.
